We have teamed up with researchers at the University of Essex to develop a survey that aims to understand volunteer experiences that involve talking to strangers. We would love to hear from you if you are newly registered to volunteer with us and have not yet volunteered and spoken to our guests.
This research will help us to understand your experiences and concerns, and is expected to lead to new training provision for our volunteers. It will also contribute to academic research, helping psychologists understand people’s expectations and experiences talking to strangers.
