FoodCycle Sheffield St Barts - Hosting Team
This is a great team to join if you are good at chatting to and welcoming guests. Also great if you are willing to get your hands in the sink and wash dishes!! Volunteers put the final touches to setting tables and welcome guests at 12.30 with hot drinks. At 1 pm meals are served by team members, who juggle serving, eating and chatting! When guests leave, team members wash up and clear the kitchen. All volunteers for this team are encouraged to stay until the kitchen is completely clean.
For February and March we will be running a reduced offering while a review takes place within the church and FoodCycle community. This means that the cooking session will run 10.30-2.30 and the hosting will be 12.30-2.30. They will be doing a hearty soup and bread followed by a simple desert (fruit/cake).
