FoodCycle Cambridge Wesley - Cooking Team - New Volunteers
This slot is reserved for anyone who hasn't volunteered with the cooking team before.
As part of the cooking team, you'll be working with other volunteers to turn our haul of surplus food into a nutritious meal, which you will then get a chance to sit down and enjoy! Bring your best chopping skills and plenty of ideas :)
Please note: if you have been ill recently, especially with a tummy bug, you will need to wait until you have been clear of symptoms for at least 48 hours before helping out in the kitchen.
We have introduced this dedicated slot for brand new cooking volunteers because spaces on our cooking team are very popular - the normal slots often get booked up well in advance, which can make it difficult for new volunteers to sign up.
If you have volunteered with the cooking team before, you can sign up here instead. (If all the slots are full for your preferred date, please add yourself to the waiting list. If this dedicated slot isn't taken by a new volunteer then it will be offered to those on the waiting list.)
