Christmas Event Preparation
On Wednesday 20 December FoodCycle Islington will be running an extra-special Christmas session, where we will be cooking a buffet style lunch for approximately 80 people. Every year this event, organised with the Mind Centre, is a real hit with guests but it will require some extra-special preparation.
On Tuesday 19 we will be making an extra surplus-food collection and spending the day prepping for the big event. We will be meeting at our usual spot, at 10am outside Waitrose (with some extra-large carrier bags and trolleys please) before merrily heading on our way to the Mind Centre. Although we will not be serving food on the 19, it should be a fun and festive way to spend your Tuesday!
