Session Details

FoodCycle London Schools Globe (SE1)

FoodCycle London Schools Globe runs every Tuesday evening, serving free meals to families of Globe Academy in SE1.

The meals support families suffering from food insecurity, reduce isolation and help schools build stronger relationships with their local communities. They also offer a great chance to get students excited about healthy eating and sustainable habits.

You don’t need to have any previous cooking or serving experience, or experience working with children or families although if you do, that's just as welcome!

FoodCycle volunteers are welcoming and committed people who want to create delicious meals and lasting relationships within their community.

You’ll be supported by a FoodCycle Project Leader, who will help make sure the session goes smoothly and is there for any questions you might have.

**As these sessions involve working with children, some extra safeguarding steps are in place. By signing up to any session at a FoodCycle Schools meal you consent to your name and DOB being shared with the school. Please bring photo ID with you to your session, this will need to be shown to either the school reception or your project leader so they can verify your identity. **

If you require adjustments to support your volunteering, your name appears different onn your photo ID or have any questions, please contact globe@foodcycle.org.uk.
