FoodCycle Walsall Schools Goldsmith
FoodCycle Walsall Schools Goldsmith cooks up a meal every week on Wednesdays for families of the Goldsmith Primary Academy!
Our meals help build stronger family connections through the sharing of food and also support schools in educating students and parents in nutrition, healthy eating habits, sustainability, and social skills.
You don’t need to have any previous cooking experience, or experience working with children. If you do, that's just as welcome!
FoodCycle volunteers are welcoming and committed people who want to create delicious meals and lasting relationships within their community.
You’ll be supported by a FoodCycle Project Leader, who will help make sure the session goes smoothly and is there for any questions you might have.
**As these sessions involve working with children, some extra safeguarding steps are in place. By signing up to any session at a FoodCycle Schools meal you consent to your name and DOB being shared with the school. Please bring photo ID with you to your session, this will need to be shown to either the school reception or your project leader so they can verify your identity. **
